Warning on the step: "While it's uninstalling, go to
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\
and delete the DriveFS folder." Given you may be doing this to try and clear a file that is not syncing and causing files to queue this step will delete any files in your cache that have not synced. I could not recover from recycle bin so the files were lost before I found this Google support article here: https://support.google.com/a/thread/8691300?hl=en.Thank you. Here it worked super well. Thanks a lot for this tutorial.
Thank you so much for sharing these steps! I was looking where to delete un-synced files history, because this was the issue why my Google Drive File Stream was not working properly, and I am so glad I found this article. Now my Google Drive File Stream works like a charm in a Windows PC, even switching accounts, personal and business, is extremely easy to do. One suggestion I would give to anyone before repairing Google Drive File Stream is to make a back up of all your data, just to be on the safe side. I did not have any issues though. I am so grateful for your professionalism! Keep it up!
